I can understand slowing down in school zones but not everywhere is a school zone. I lost no points during the whole test, but then at the end she told me that I did a rolling stop which caused me to lose all my points.

After she told me I failed she got out of the car and said that I was a fantastic driver. Both times I took the test, and whenever I have been to that Access Nova Scotia when it opens she always takes the first driver. I took it 2 years ago, but mainly it's all back streets, a little of portland, then right/left turns, stop signs, parking. Also no highways and you need to be able to reverse park.
Since the location changed the route has changed. It used to be the same route every time. Either backwards of forwards. They probably still only use one test route as they've done it for 20+ years. I just know don't do 50km bang on, especially if your tester is a tall blonde woman. Several of the testers do not like it and will fail you for it.
They want a safe speed of 35-45. I have a hidden cruise control which I used to drive exactly 48-50. The controls are below the steering wheel on the right hand side so the tester could not see them. She commented that I had the best speed control she'd seen in a while. But she said 'it doesn't matter that the speed is 50, I want you to drive at around 40 and less than 45 because children'.

I took the test again and drove around 40 easily passing. She said although it's legal to drive 48 or 50 it's not 'safe' and she won't pass anyone who does.
