As a fully trained and up to date Bosch eBike technician I have access to the Bosch eBike Systems Diagnostics. It is a clever piece of software that plugs directly into the bicycle via the headunit. This powerful software gives me insight into how and where you ride your bicycle, it also tells us how your have been treating the bike (for example battery temperatures and protected modes when it has gone outside of useful temperature ranges). More recently the system diagnostics have given access to a graph showing the percentage of use of different power modes. Awesome I know! More Power That’s right. Some of the software updates can increase the motor’s torque or overall power output.

We recommend every 3 months if used daily or 6 months if less regularly used. Your Bosch eBike will potentially be kicking out 3 times more power than you put in. As a rule of thumb a brand new Bosch eBike should be serviced after assembly from new (and re-serviced if it is courier shipped). It should then be serviced within 12 weeks of first purchase to check for stretched or bedded in items and to retighten anything that may have worked loose in the initial bedding in period. Then we would recommend servicing every 6 months depending on use.

Simple, our workshop is run not-for-profit, only for convenience. We only allow our bikes into the workshop, these are pre-booked and allocated time, whilst you are enjoying a coffee, we can turn your eBike round within 1 hour. Our accredited eBike service technicians also carry out eBike specific tasks including full diagnostics, software updates, usage reports & activation. Our in house workshops are equipped with all the latest diagnostic systems and tools to fully support the bikes that we supply. Our labour charges are amongst the lowest in the country and we've received many comments that we do a much better job than many of our competitors. We also offer a same day turnaround, usually within an hour. Do you have to bring your eBike to us for servicing?
Quite simply - No. You do not have to get your eBike serviced by us. The electric components are sealed & don't require routine maintenance, therefore any bike shop can service the bike, tune gears & adjust brakes etc. Electric bikes should be serviced as laid out in the owner's manual, often once a year is adequate for European eBikes. How can we offer remote support? We offer remote diagnostics in the event of an system issue. Wherever you are in the world, as long as you have access to a PC or Laptop connected to the internet, our technicians can remotely control your computer.

Sit back and relax as we diagnose, reset & update your eBike. In the rare event parts are required, we can ship out via courier within 24 hours. Our Standard Service Charge is £35: Other work can be carried out by our technicians at a rate of £30 p/h. IMPORTANT. We only service, diagnose & repair eBikes bought from us. In the past we've have had an influx of cheap far east models clogging up our workshop fraught with problems and therefore we no longer accept any eBike that has not been supplied by us.
We are also constantly inundated with enquiries about eBikes that have been bought elsewhere but have been offered little or no level of support further down the line.
