Uttaran (cast-offs), Indian television Hindi serial, is a story about two friends from different economic background. The story is of two little girls Tapasya and Iccha. Tapasya a rich kid cast-offs her things to her maid’s daughter Ichcha.
In spite of difference in their status, Tapasya and Ichcha become best friends. The wicked characters in this serial create problems in their friendship creating a twist in the story. The overall story revolved around lives of these two friends who witness blossoms of love and happiness as well as pricking hatred and betrayal.
